Judi L. Cooper - Founder:
It has been a long
term goal, and on my "Life List" to one day open a
Fitness Club for Youth. The time has come to bring this
goal to fruition. I found my passion for the fitness
industry years ago when I worked myself up the ranks
from instructor to General Manager for Bally's Health
and Tennis in less than one year. I was recognized with
several awards for my accomplishments at Bally's in both
sales and overall operation improvement.
I
left the fitness industry when my daughter started
school so I could be home in the evenings to focus on
helping her and entered the mortgage industry. I led a
very successful mortgage career in managing a nationwide
sales team, marketing and daily operations. Throughout
the years I have stayed with my passion for fitness by
playing on a variety sport leagues, working out,
running, biking, and coaching youth team sports for my
kids.
In 2005
my son was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes. He has always
been an active kid, and remains active in sports all
year round. I recognize the importance of physical
activity and healthy lifestyle choices, and know
firsthand how it has made a difference in my son's life
and managing his Diabetes.
Inactivity and poor nutrition are the main cause of
obesity in children. Therefore, I am doing my part by
providing a fun and exciting facility just for youth
ages 6- 18 that fosters improving their overall health
and lifestyle choices with state of the art technology
Exergaming (video interactive exercise gaming
equipment), coach led fitness design programs, leagues,
"dance off" competitions, a fun café offering healthy
yet refreshing snacks and beverages they can enjoy while
hanging out with their friends.
There is so much more
that Xtreme Fun and Fitness offers, and I hope you will
make the time to come see us real soon.
